Columbia International University volleyball coach Amber Haver is the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Region Coach of the Year.

Haver led CIU to their best season since the program's inception with a record of 21-12.

"I'm honored. Blessed to have student-athletes that are all-in and give the program their best every day,” Haver said. “I love my job."

Meanwhile, freshman Kira Rymer snagged the NCCAA South Region Player of the Year award. Rymer was excellent all season long, finishing the year with 243 kills and a .346 hitting percentage, and finished in the top 10 in the NCCAA in both hitting percentage and kills per set. 

It’s the second year in a row that a CIU Ram as won the Player of the Year award. Read more at Rams.com.
