Get Ready for Another Exciting John Maxwell Leadership Forum
Influential leadership expert Dr. John Maxwell returns to Columbia International University on March 23 for his fourth Leadership Forum in the Midlands of South Carolina. The event takes place from 1-3 p.m. in Shortess Chapel on the campus of CIU.
Maxwell is a #1 New York Times bestselling author, coach, and speaker who has sold more than 26 million books in 50 languages. He has been identified as the #1 leader in business by the American Management Association and the most influential leadership expert in the world by Business Insider and Inc. magazine.
As the founder of The John Maxwell Company, The John Maxwell Team, EQUIP, and the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation, he has trained more than six million leaders. In 2015, he reached the milestone of having trained leaders from every country of the world. Maxwell speaks each year to Fortune 500 companies, presidents of nations, and many of the world’s top business leaders.
CIU President Dr. Mark Smith says Maxwell has been his personal mentor for several years and has transformed the way he leads.
Joining Maxwell will be baseball legend Darryl Strawberry the author of the new book “Turn Your Season Around.” Strawberry played 17 seasons in the major leagues, leading the New York Mets and the New York Yankees to World Series championships. He was also an eight-time all-star.
COVID precautions will be in place at the Forum. Masks are required. CDC guidelines and industry best practices have been implemented across campus to protect the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, guests and the community.
