When Cole Harper was a Columbia International University student studying Youth Ministry, he had numerous opportunities to apply what he was learning in class to hands-on experience with the ministry Young Life.

Young Life (YL) is a national outreach with local chapters and a simple mission: Introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. After graduation in 2015, Harper was ready to move into leadership of Young Life in Newberry County, South Carolina, just north of the Columbia area.

Harper recently discussed how he came to Christ in high school through Young Life and how he is now the one impacting young lives. He told his story at the Newberry County Young Life Banquet. It was reported in the article, “Harper discusses his YL journey” published in The Newberry Observer newspaper.
