The Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) minor develops knowledge and skills necessary to teach English as a second or foreign language in a wide variety of cross-cultural and educational settings, offering a variety of ministry opportunities, as well.

Joe LeTexier joined the CIU faculty in 1996. Prior to that, he was involved in cross-cultural ministry working primarily in Zaragoza, Spain.

Tina (Winchester) Walker joined the CIU Faculty in 2011.  Previously, she taught English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to adult immigrants from all over the world for seventeen years.
