Post-graduate Professional Course: CNS 8410 Clinical Supervision and Consultation

This course is SC Board-approved and designed to meet the criteria established by the South Carolina

Licensure Board (SC Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation) as part of the requirements to obtain

SC State-approved clinical supervisor licensure as an LPC-S, LMFT-S, or LISW-CP. Enrollment in this

professional course is restricted to postgraduate students with a graduate degree and licensure in the

mental health profession.

A non-degree seeking student application specifically designed for this course is required. The course is

open to applicants of any background (regardless of religious affiliation) who agree to be respectful of the

opinions and views of others, willing to participate in meaningful and constructive dialog with instructors

and classmates on various matters (including issues of faith) and to act in a manner consistent with the

ethical standards of the profession of counseling and CIU’s Christian beliefs, values, and lifestyle while on

campus and in the preparation and presentation of coursework.
