FROM THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS…

It’s a great time for you to be a part of the

CIU School of Business and Professional

Studies!

We continue to be richly blessed, with the new William H. Jones Business and IT

Center under construction, our John R. Cook, Jr. Business and Entrepreneurship Center

and

Launch!

program assisting students with organizing new business and missions

ventures, the W. Harold Wray, Sr. Entrepreneurship Laboratory hosting seminars and

programs with leading experts in business, law, HR, sports and healthcare, and our student

Enactus

and

Bloomberg Challenge

teams finding ways to enhance and advance our

community!

The mission of CIU’s School of Business and Professional Studies is to train and equip

“Ministering Professionals” to impact the marketplace with the message of Christ. Our

students and graduates are already making a difference, with

many owning their own businesses, or working in or managing

local and international ministries, organizations and

businesses. Now more than ever, practical and marketable

business skills, together with a strong Biblical foundation, are

essential for success in any profession.

Our

Business Administration

major will prepare and equip

you to effectively lead and manage organizations anywhere in

the world, including for-profit enterprises, not-for-profit

organizations, and governmental and international non-

governmental entities. Combined with CIU’s Bible and

theology curriculum, students will be distinctively equipped to

positively impact and lead traditional ministry, church and

mission organizations. In addition, the

Healthcare

Administration Concentration

provides students with the

skills necessary to lead and manage clinics, hospitals, and

other healthcare organizations, and the

Intercultural

Management and Administration Concentration

will

provide you with unique skills necessary to organize and lead

multicultural businesses, ministries and organizations

worldwide.

Our

Sport Management

major will provide you with the core competencies necessary to

compete in leading, managing, or working with organized sports teams, sports marketing

organizations, and sports venues.

All curriculum and programs in CIU’s School of Business and Professional Studies immerse

students in the timeless principles and cutting-edge processes essential for success! Our

students have opportunities to develop and explore entrepreneurship ideas and ideals,

community business collaboration, practical and vocational business and leadership

techniques, personal professional development opportunities, and obtain the resources to form

their own business or ministry. Besides being trained to establish and lead organizations and

ministries, our students are also equipped to pursue graduate education in such areas as public

administration, accounting and finance, healthcare, international business, insurance and risk

management, law, sport management, and organizational leadership.

Our students have a record of success! Whether your goal is to start and run your own

business, engage in church or ministry leadership, or lead a domestic or international

corporation, our programs and majors will provide you the tools needed to succeed!

Come grow

with us!
