This was a common sight around the
Columbia area on Oct. 4, 2015 when
hundreds of people had to be rescued from
their homes as 16-inches of rain caused
rivers and creeks to swell to unprecedented
levels, and dams to breach.
In the Pine Glen neighborhood alone
(pictured), 134 homes were flooded. The
cleanup and repair around South Carolina
continues to this day.
College students are busy people. But this
is the story of how Columbia International
University students took time out to
reach out and share the love of Christ to a
hurting community.
