Visit Days
Come and experience CIU during one of our group visit days. During these special visit days you'll get to tour CIU's beautiful campus, sit in on class, connect with professors and students in your area of interest, interact with other sudents, and participate in a chapel service. Representatives from admissions, student financial services, and residence life will be available to meet and give you information about life at CIU. If these dates don't fit into your schedule, please let us know and we'll schedule a personal visit just for you..

Individualized Campus Visits

Academic-Year Visitors
The admissions office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Campus visits are scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the academic year. We are sorry, but visits are not offered on Mondays. A traditional visit (including all the below activities) lasts from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.We would be happy to work with your schedule if you are unable to visit during these times.
Due to Annual campus events we will not be able to accommodate visitors on the following dates:
January 18, February 9, March 4, March 22-26, April 2, April 12-16, May 14.

For single visitors, our Campus Visit Coordinator can also arrange overnight housing in the residence halls with one of our student hosts for one night (bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, etc). If you would like to schedule an overnight stay, please schedule your visit at least two weeks prior to your visit.

CIU will help arrange airport/bus pickup within Columbia; please provide the details of your arrival/departure to our Campus Visit Coordinator two weeks prior to your campus visit.
We will make every effort to accommodate those with special needs or food allergies. If accommodations are needed, please schedule your visit at least 30 days in advance to allow time to collect proper documentation and make the necessary arrangements.
Summer Visitors
Columbia International University welcomes visitors year-round. Summer visitors are welcome for a campus tour and meetings with admissions and student financial services. Other appointments may be available on a limited basis from May through August.
