Dr. Klejment-Lavin joined the Columbia International University faculty in 2023. Previously, he spent thirteen years in intercultural ministry in Indonesia and South Korea. Dr. Klejment-Lavin’s research interest is concerning the interplay between religion, worldviews, experience, morality, and the construction of moral beliefs in light of lived experiences.

Since 2007, Dr. Klejment-Lavin has been married to Carolyn and together they are parents to Noah and Finnian. Dr. Klejment-Lavin and his family love the great outdoors and playing board games. He is an avid fan of the both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
