You will focus on the cultural and religious history
of selected Mediterranean countries. Prior to the
tour, lectures will introduce you to the area’s
geography, philosophy, theology, missions, litera-
ture and arts. Specific reading and writing require-
ments will be included in the syllabus compiled by
the instructor. Attendance at pre-trip lectures is
required. You will spend equal time in preparation,
required lecture periods and prescribed activities
on the tour as you would normally invest in a resi-

A study of Acts examines the birth and growth of
the early church. In addition to studying the histor-
ical sequence of events, you will consider Luke’s
theological themes, learn to extrapolate legitimate
biblical principles from historical narrative and
apply those principles in the development of con-
temporary missions strategy. Attention will be
given to the use of Acts for teaching and preach-
ing.
