Dr. Steve Butler, a graduate of Columbia International University’s Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership program is the new president of Texas Baptist Institute and Seminary in Henderson, Texas. Butler has served as a faculty member at the 75-year-old school since 1976 and more recently served in various administrative roles from registrar, academic dean and CEO.

Along with his educational experience, Butler served on the staff of Calvary Baptist Church in Henderson for 41 years.

The new era of leadership comes as the Texas Baptist begins its first full year as an accredited institution, having reached that status with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) in February.
