Richland County Council has passed a proclamation supporting Columbia International University's RAMSERVE Day on April 5, 2022 when the university partners with local schools, businesses, churches and government agencies to volunteer in serving the community.

During a March 1 Council meeting, Council members Gretchen Barron, Paul Livingston and Overture Walker, who represent districts near the CIU campus, expressed their gratitude for the changes CIU has brought to the Monticello Road Corridor.

The proclamation comes after CIU arranged several conversations with Richland County Council members on how to partner on community efforts.

Community is at the heart of CIU. With record enrollment for five straight years, CIU consistently ranks among the Top Regional Universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report, as well as a Best Value Regional University in the South. Apply now or request information on enrollment by contacting Admissions at (803) 807-5024 or admissions@ciu.edu.
